Catan Local Qualifier at The Gaming Guild Evansville, IN

Join us May 31 at 1 pm CST for the Catan Local Qualifier! Entry cost is $15 and Everything to play will be provided. We will have lots of promo items to give away and the winner will earn a spot at the Knight Regional Preliminary!

Doors open 11 am CST
Check in begins 12 pm CST
Round 1 begins 1 pm CST

Prizes:

All players receive a CATAN Shop discount card.

Top 16 players (Semi-Finalists) each additionally receive a promotional scenario.

Top 4 players (Finalists) will each additionally receive 1 promotional tile set and a set of game pieces. 

The Winner will receive all the previous items, plus 1 enamel pin, and advancement to the next phase of the CATAN Championship. Exactly what that means varies by country, so please check your country page by clicking on the appropriate flag for more information!

ELIGIBILITY: Players may only take a seat at an official CATAN Local Qualifier if they have met these guidelines:

    Players must be 18+ years of age by the date of the National Championship and a resident of the country hosting the Qualifier. If asked, this should be provable with a valid piece of identification showing a home address or a piece of mail.
    If a player has already won a Qualifier for this season (US only: in the same region), they must wait until next season before participating in another Qualifier.

Round time: Players are expected to play quickly and efficiently. After 1 hour has elapsed players will then take timed 2 minute turns until the game is complete. This is to ensure the event runs in a timely manner. 

Host Information: We are The Gaming Guild! We are a local game and hobby store located in Evansville Indiana. We are committed to creating a fun safe gaming environment focused primarily on building community! Everyone is welcome at our store and we have a zero tolerance policy on intolerance. 

Host Amenities: We have two non-gendered wheelchair accessible bathrooms with complementary feminine hygiene products as well as personal smelly goods for any gender. There is plenty of parking at our store so parking shouldn't be an issue. There are 7+ restaurants within walking distance and several hotels withing 1-2 miles of the store.
